What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

I went to an excellent school and developed a lot of legal experience as a result. My paralegal work experience, from 1979 to 1990, helped me prepare so that I could set up my own office immediately after becoming an attorney. Also, traveling to over 40 different countries and being able to meet and speak with different people has helped me develop a deep understanding of people’s diverse needs.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

My primary areas of practice have to do with people and their properties. I enjoy helping people preserve their assets, transfer them to their loved ones, or simply get a fresh, new start. Helping a client establish a business to protect and develop their assets, or set up a living trust for a client who didn’t realize how crucial it is makes my day!

What do you like best about your career?

I like having the ability to help others over the years. There is a great deal of satisfaction in that!

Tell us about your law firm:

My clients meet with me on the initial visit and I continue to be accessible to them if they decide to work with me. My staff is very attentive and knowledgeable, and is committed to the success of our clients and their cases. We are all fluent in Spanish. This firm is a debt relief agency that helps people file for bankruptcy under the bankruptcy code.

What are your strengths and style?

I am very personable, understanding, and trustworthy. I work hard for my clients in an effort to exceed their expectations. I am a solution-oriented attorney who believes that good communication goes a long way.

Personal Interest:

I enjoy reading, travel, activism, movies and theater, and spending time with family and friends.
